Part of the Brisbane Improv Festival workshop series!
Head/Heart/Hole - Where does improv come from? with Matt Powell
Sometimes improv is brainy. Sometimes it's a strong emotional response. Sometimes, you just shit a gold nugget onto the stage and everyone cheers.
We all have different defaults that we bring to improv, but have you ever wished you could put your brain to one side and just respond emotionally? Or put aside the random offer that was your first go-to and have a think about the big picture?
In this workshop we look at three different approaches to making offers, and how to use those different styles with intention and clarity.
Workshop length: 3 hours
Recommended experience level: Beginner and up
Participants need to know: Come ready to work outside of your comfort zone! This workshop is not about doing things well.
