THE 2025 FESTIVAL RETURNS AS PART OF THE BIG FORK COMEDY FESTIVAL
The Brisbane Improv Festival returns 18 - 26 July 2025 at Big Fork Theatre as part of the Big Fork Comedy Festival - celebrating 10 years of Big Fork Theatre.
Expressions of Interest will open soon for shows and workshops. This year the program will feature Improv, Sketch and Stand Up Comedy to celebrate every thing that makes Big Fork Theatre special.
WHAT IS THE BRISBANE IMPROV FESTIVAL?
The Brisbane Improv Festival is a celebration of Brisbane's diverse and talented improv community.
Hosted by Big Fork Theatre since the inaugural festival in 2021, it’s now held at our theatre in Fortitude Valley. Celebrating all things improvised comedy, the Brisbane Improv Festival will showcase some of this city’s best and most innovative comedians and performers as well as visiting guests across five nights of live shows and workshops.
Comedy, musicals, surprise guests and more from across Australia and New Zealand - the Brisbane Improv Festival has something for everyone.
