It’s in the name really! improvised comedy (improv) is an artform where each performance is created in the moment and on the spot. Every show is unique as there’s no script or safety net to fall back on, guaranteeing you an exhilarating and hilarious one-of-a-kind show each time.

We ask that audience members please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the show start time. The venue will be open 30 minutes prior to the show, so come in early and enjoy a drink at Big Fork Theatre's Carus Bar.

Shows at 6:00PM and 7:30PM are $20 + booking fee, and 9:00PM shows are $15 + booking fee. Book your tickets online from Eventbrite here.

Big Fork Theatre is located centrally in Fortitude Valley at Lv 2, 252 St Pauls Tce.

There is ample street parking around the venue.

To be safe we recommend that all shows are suitable for ages 15+ and all minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, but as it's all improvised we can never guarantee what the content of each show will be.

Big Fork Theatre aims to create an accessible space for performers and audience. Our venue has wheelchair access through the main entrance (entrance on the corner of Grenier St and St Paul’s Terrace). There is a lift up to the second floor, with accessible bathrooms on level 2. The stage of the theatre is also wheelchair accessible.

Brisbane Improv Festival shows are performed live, so content may include sensitive topics.

Shows include theatre lights, but no fog machines or similar are permitted at our venue.

Currently no shows are ASL interpreted and we do not have any audio described performances available.

Seating is on conference chairs with no arms and is flexible.
