Expresso: Short & Sweet promises an astounding laughs-per-minute ratio, with each piece capped at 90 seconds maximum. Exciting things come in petite packages, and these bite-sized sketches will be wasting no time before making way for the next premise. Audiences will be granted short opportunities to catch their breath in between bursts of quickfire comedy that are all killer and no filler.
Produced by prolific sketch-writer Liz Talbot (Brisbane Comedy Festival, Anywhere Festival, ITS Comedy Festival, Bris Funny Fest, Brisbane Fringe) and delivered by a cast of Brisbane’s cheekiest writers showcasing their quickest routes to punchlines, Expresso is a delightful show to kick off Sketch Fest 2025.

When 4 best friends come across a magical clipboard that fits them all despite their various body types, they can’t believe their luck. For their first ever summer apart, they decide to share its magical capabilities as they each embark on a daring new adventure.
Debuting at Big Fork Theatre’s Sketch Fest 2025, ‘The Brotherhood of the Travelling Clipboard’ is a one-man character sketch comedy show about that beautiful time in every man’s life when he must decide between what to let go and, more importantly, what to write down.
Sketch Fest is presented by Big Fork Theatre. Running Friday 21 March to Sunday 23 March, a whole weekend dedicated to hilarious sketch comedy shows and workshops. Last year's Sketch Fest was an absolute smash, so don't miss out on your tickets!!!
