  • Big Fork Theatre 252 Saint Pauls Terrace Fortitude Valley, QLD, 4000 Australia (map)

Raising the Bard
Presented by Improv Queensland (Meanjin/Brisbane, Australia)

Embark on a laughter-filled journey as we craft a whimsical Shakespearean adventure inspired by some simple facts of one persons life. No Shakespearean expertise needed! Join us for a night of laughter, merriment, as our roving player give a slice of the Bard like you've never seen before.

So funny as to leave you in tears - Weekend Notes
Hilarity a scripted affair could only dream of. - Scenstr

Where the Wild Things Are
Presented by Noelle Greenwood & Adam O'Sullivan (Meanjin/Brisbane, Australia)

Where The Wild Things Are explores a fantastical world in which creatures of all shapes and sizes must battle unforeseen forces to achieve their desires. Step into a nostalgic world of brutish beasts, curious critters, fantastical faery folk, mythical monsters, savage spirits and wiry wildlings as experienced improvisers use audience suggestions to weave a world worthy of wonder.

With fish out of water scenarios we’ll see how monsters might deal with the modern world and see the hilarious result of these larger than life characters as they are thrust into mundanely ordinary situations.
