Part of the Brisbane Improv Festival workshop series!

Toddlerprov with Jim Reynolds

What could we add to our scenes if we had the mindset of a toddler looking at a situation for the first time?

This workshop is designed to leverage the experiences of improviser parents (but is suitable for all improvisers regardless of parental status) and will explore how we can improvise more instinctually and with a greater sense of abandon and fun, using real examples from our parenting experiences.

Additionally, this workshop will explore some of the tools parents use to relate to children on their level, and ask whether these same skills can help us be better scene partners to players of all skill levels.

Workshop length: 3 hours
Recommended experience level: Beginner and up
Participants need to know: Participants in this workshop may be selected to perform in the show Don't Put That Thing In Your Mouth. Participation in the workshop does not guarantee being cast in the show, please advise the facilitator on the day if you do not wish to be considered for the cast.
