Capped at 12 participants, in this 8 week Finding the Funny class we explore how to take true stories and turn them into hilarious improvised scenes. This gives students experience in the Armando format which is the core of Big Fork Theatre's flagship show, Cool Story Bro.

Comedic premise based improvisation
Unpacking true stories to find a comedic premise
Advanced long form techniques
How to heighten and explore comedic premises
Successful completion of Big Fork Theatre's Improv Foundations 4: Group Mind required to take this class. Special consideration may be made if you don't fit this criteria but you feel that you have the required training and skill please contact the Directors at training@bigforktheatre.com to discuss.
This course meets for 8 sessions that are each 3 hours long. There will be a graduation show at the end of this course.
