Brisbane Improv Festival - a celebration of improvised comedy in Brisbane 22 - 29 July
Facilitated by Jim Fishwick (NSW)
Sometimes when you're off exploring the heights, you lose sight of where you started — the basics. This is a workshop for people with many years experience improvising, and revisits some of the fundamental exercises we learned all those years ago, but now with fresh eyes, or at least the critical eye of our expertise. (Did they actually accept that offer? How connected were they with their scene partner?) We'll go deep on our core skills, reconnect with our fundamental spontaneity, and troubleshoot some of the shortcuts/crutches we've developed over the years.
